MiG-AT

New basic jet trainer, selected to replace the L-29 and L-39. The MiG-AT is more conventional than the Yak-130. It has a low-set, straight wing, with the engines on top, and a T-tail. Two prototypes are being built, and orders are hoped to exceed 1200. The MiG-AT has French engines, and is also being developed in cooperation with the South-Korean Daewoo.
